No place like it

Where does the chap in search of leisure go to get his gen on the delights of a wet weekend in Mancunia? Well if it’s print you’re after, there’s always Manchester Chimp Magazine. If you’d sooner interweb your info there’s Creative Tourist – this is a nifty venture by a group of Manchester museums, galleries and venues, including the newly reopened People’s History Museum (where I once passed my time in gainful employment). There’s lots of good reviews, not just listings, so it’s well worth a bookmark. This photo reminds me that Spencer Tunick was up to his usual tricks in Salford. You’ll be relieved to hear I didn’t suffer for his art.
